The Belgien act AGATHOCLES are undoubtly Europe`s most important Grindcore band. The trio - Jan, Matty und Burt - belong to the most active Underground representatives. They are either on tour rocking the fans live, or they are in the studio to record an EP, a split stuff or a longplayer. There exist already about 70 releases with and by AGATHOCLES - a real challenge for Grindcore collecters. They have made split-releases with bands like Smegma, Blood, Impetigo, Psycho, Nasum, Patareni, Social Genocide, Rot or Averno.

The gigs of the crazy Belgians are of great popularity.Nearly around 500-600 crazy fans flock to the venues. Annually the band gives about 100 concerts - all over Europe.

"Humarrogance" is the band´s fifth longplayer. Again the Belgians smash killerriffs, antiphonal singing and ICE-drumming at high speeds. Anyway, there are no outstanding innovations in comparison to the previous album "Thanks for your hostility". Every collector is waiting for the traditional AGATHOCLES - trademarks, and they´re getting them.

Grindcore at its best-and ( of course ), highly committed political lyrics. There is drawn a bead of corrupt politicians, Nazis are hit with words, and police machinery is exposed ...The boys choose cynical, sarcastic, sometimes pessimistic forms of representation.Deviations from this concept would just simply be a disappointment.

AGATHOCLES - that is more than ten years of noise history. Nowadays you hardly find any young Grindcore band that hasn´t been influenced by these three Belgians.

And now enjoy the noise dreams are made of.
