DARK DISCIPLE
BANDINFO:
DARK DISCIPLE rose from the dark pits of Baltimore / USA. Based
in Maryland the band was founded in 1999 and since the very beginning
they chose the path of acoustic destruction an abominable brutality.
Imagine a monstrous mixture of US Death Metal, Stockholm-style detuned
guitars, bone breaking drumming, brutal growls and very unique soloing.
This might give you a vague idea what kind of ear murderers we have
in front of us here. In 2000 the first strike was unleashed to the
underground, a 4 track demo entitled „When The Wicked Inherit
The Earth“. The band brought to their unsuspecting victims
the dark side of reality. Two years later in 2002 the second demo
„Beneath The Inverted Cross“ was released and all three
tracks made it into the Top 50 mp3 charts. The band name gained
recognition throughout the underground thanks to enthusiastic reviews,
interviews and heavy rotation on Metal radio stations. Nobody could
escape the satanic aspects of this highly praised release. 2003
brought several line-up changes, the time was at hand for the full-length
debut. „Unholy Hate Gore“, what an appropriate title
for an album dealing with the gruesome things in life and a true
punch in the face of the mainstream, religions and the strange aspects
of everyday-life in a degenerated society.
