BANDINFO:
When Morbid Records distributed „Sixtimesnine" - the first LP of the South African Grindcore Heroes GROINCHURN two years ago to the German Market, shouts of joy could be heard throughout the community. Because the exotic banging showed convincingly which facets and stylistic possibilities this music can offer - being radical in all parts. GROINCHURN always have been far more than „only" a chop up - gang.

So it`s no wonder that the actual output of those guys - „Fink" - will be thrown into the pack via Morbid Records. This album is full of surprises, GROINCHURN have discovered Groove and Rock `n Roll for themselves, which they mix with their deathlike Grindcore. That`s what makes „Fink" not only into an exceptional release for all grinders but also attractive to theDeath Metal Posse. Cool riffs, driving drumming, multilateral shouting - feel your neck!

GROINCHURN came together in March in 1994. The band produced two demos - „Human Filth" and „Every Dog Has It`s Decay". Offerings of some labels followed and various split-publications with bands like Mindfart, Necrose, Captain 3 Leg and Woyzech. More over the band is present on the CD-Sampler „Four Way To Misery" together with Nyctophobic, Winter of Discontent and Caesarean Section. These releases, completed by some EP`s prove Grindcore Acts are busily publishing. And last but not least there are the live activities of the South Africans: In 1997 they played themselves into the hearts of the European fans playing before Krabathor. Next thing they went on the „South African Slaughter Tour", again together with Krabathor.
