HARMONY DIES

BANDINFO:
This Death Metal band from Berlin / Germany, consisting of upright idealists, was brought to a tough life in 1992 to attract attention with brute sounds of deadly steel. Since then Harmony Dies work hard at perfecting their style and their musical skills. The first two demos hit mankind in 1992 - „Living Corpses” und „Slope” were then followed by a split single with Krisiun from Brazil, which was released by Morbid Records. Then the third demo „Third Output...” and another demo „Promo 95“ came out in short succession. After these quite convincing demo-releases a self-produced CD was recorded. The result was a MCD entitled „Slaughtered”, which got very good feedback. Now the time seemed right for the first full-length release, so in 1998 Harmony Dies released their debut “Don´t Trust” with the German Ars Metalli label. The band´s line-up has changed quite a number of times, but the endless brutality and limitless energy of Harmony Dies was only further improved by these changes.
To add to this already diabolic thing, the band released a live home-video “Dying Live”. At the same time Harmony Dies entered the Soundforge Studio to record a stirring contribution to a Suffocation Tribute Compilation. Next was the 2002 split single „Hybrid Manifestation“ with fellow Berliners Spawn. Harmony Dies definitely have their forte live onstage. Thus they try to play live as often as possible. The band performed at well-known underground festivals like Fuck The Commerce or PartySan and delivered great live-shows with Vader, Deeds Of Flesh, In Flames, Dying Fetus, Deranged, Krisiun, Incantation, Exhumed, Mayhem, The Haunted. After successfully adding new drummer Torsten to the line-up, Berlins brutality fetishists again entered the studio to record their latest album “Impact”. The recordings have now been completed and with “Impact” they have another strong album full of pure, brutal Death Metal ready.
