BANDINFO:
The center of the Swabian Metal scene, picturesque Schwäbisch-Gmünd, is the home base of this Death Metal four-piece. History dates back the roots of the band´s inception to 1996. From that point on the energetic foursome concentrated on creating an individual style, which fills the dogmatic genre preconditions with a clearly defined artistic identity. High velocity and intense Melodic Death Metal is the choice of many other comparable bands, but only a select few have the charisma and the fascination of the Scandinavian pioneers - the reason is in most cases sheer plagiarism. IMMORTAL RITES waste not a single thought on such considerations. The debut album „Art Of Devolution“ offers a great number of influences which are flawlessly interconnected. Produced by recording professional Alex Krull at his own Mastersound Studios, this record convinces also in terms of sound quality.
