Brake upon Lower Weser, 1984. Timo Gerhardt is fascinated by a school band from the upper school, giving a concert during the 125th anniversary of the Brake high school.

When Thimo had watched his father, who played acoustics guitar, long enough, he decided to found his first band . He met the drummer Jochen Rdebusch. First they rehearsed with school-owned instruments - Thimo played guitar at that time. Some weeks later, they read on the notice- board of their school, that a guitarist was looking for a heavy metal band. So Thimo changed to bass guitar and Ulf Schmeyers played the guitar. THE NOW NOISE! were born.

The first songs had been written after three months, and during a school project they were presented to the school audience. One of Thimos fathers colleagues recorded the concert on video. After watching the video and thinking it was first- class shit, THE NOW NOISE! disbanded.

Now, THE NOW NOISE! are starting again, although it took Thimo some time to find suitable players. In the meantime, the young guy from the river Weser made more noise in the Oldenburg Death Metal group OBSCENITY - that is Germans best Death Metal address. Their singer Oliver Jauch is also swinging the microphone with THE NOW NOISE!.
