BANDINFO:
Mucupurulent The band was founded in 1995. Formally it was
a funprojektand it turned out soon that the own created nd
develpoped music was good enough for a band to make music
in a more serious way. The line-up (the original one) exits
about 11 years and contains GMF ( vocals and guitar), Serafino
Scavo (guitar) and Kevin Gutmann (drums and backing vocals).
With its first own material Mucupurulent entered the studio
to record the Bizarre Tales Of The Abnormal- demo tape and
soon find audience in the Underground Scene. Mucupurulent
turned out to become a name in the scene. Because of its demo
tape Sub Zero records got interested in the band offered Mucupurulent
to record a debut cd, that has been released 1997. One year
after this release -with very good resonance in the scene-
the second cd has been produced called Horny Like Hell. SubZero
Rec. released this production 1999. Both releases gave Mucupurulent
the opportunity to play a lot of concerts all over the country
and in europe like for example Morbide Festspiele (Ger), Erxtreme
Obscene Festival (Cz), Support for the Grind Over Europe Tour
No.1 (Germany- Stuttgart), Festival nd France, shows in the
Netherlands etc. The band got shows with following bands:
Haemorrhage, Agathoceles, Blood, Krabbathor, C.S.S.O, Last
Days Of Humanity, Disastrous Murmur, Nyctophobic, Mangled,Dead
Infection,GUT,Belching Beet and man more. After the second
release Mucupurulent left SubZero Rec. and reased a 7 Split
with Cabal called Remind The Bizarre (containing songmaterial
from the Bizarre Tales Of The Abnormal recording session.
Since then it got a little bit silent about the band, but
this doesnt mean that the band stop doing activitys. No they
just built up a little studio to produce their song material
on their own in the further future. And some shows were also
played. First product of the own studio recording is the colaboration
with Belching Beet -Mucubelching Beats procued for Bizarre
Leprous Prod.. Its an album full of old favourits of both
bands covered in their own way of playing music (( I cant
stand the Rain - Tina Turner, Kyuss- Green Machine, Invisible
Limits- Love is a kind of Mysterie, etc...). This cd has been
released 2002 and it was a very funny production and recording
and both bands enjoyed recording this song material together.
The third release for Morbid Records is called Soul Reaver
and its the logical development that has been showed musically
since Horny Like Hell. From pure Gore Grind to the ultimate
GrindnRoll. At the moment mucupurulent just preparing and
recording stuff for 2005 10th anniversary-release more groovy
and more shocking and more grinding heavy stuff as on soulreaver.
Back to the roots combined with grooviness and catchiness
of soulreaver.
